A cost effective milking parlor system is the Midi Line also known as swing over system.   By using the milk clusters for both sides of the milking pit, you maximize the use of each cluster.   The vacuum system is smaller and cheaper and, as it only uses half the traditional amount of milking clusters, it makes the system a significant economic asset.   Optionally, electronic milk metering, automatic take off, and electronic herd managements can be incorporated.
